This year, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Indian Energy is offering a series of regional workshops designed to provide Alaska Native leaders and their staffs with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of developing and implementing energy projects in Alaska, including:
- How projects can help address community energy challenges and advance energy goals
- Effective strategies and tactics for identifying potential funding and financing opportunities, overcoming challenges, and gaining community buy-in
- Experience-based insights and lessons learned from other Native villages.
