Best Practices in Women’s Health: Focus on American Indian/Alaska Native Women is a multidisciplinary course that provides practical, evidence-based approaches to the recognition, management, consultation and referral of health problems facing AI/AN
women. The course is designed for IHS, Tribal and Urban (I/T/U) providers and nurses. Physicians, clinical nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician assistants will have the opportunity to attend a variety of lectures and interactive
workshops with a focus on behavioral health issues and common women’s health conditions.
