NIWRC is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for Tribal domestic violence programs and shelters to participate in a unique experiential training experience with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Bay Mills Indian Community and Uniting Three Fires (Michigan’s Tribal Coalition) in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. This peer to peer training will focus on the critical role of advocacy in ending violence across our nations. Participants will experience hands-on training and peer-led activities to see how this vibrant, cultural tribal nation is working to end violence in their community. Training will take place at the Kewadin Casinos and at various Tribal sites.
