Successful submission of an Indian Housing Plan (IHP) and an Annual Performance Report (APR) is a compliance
requirement for all Indian tribes and Alaska Native villages that are eligible recipients under the Native American
Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA) Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG)
program. The IHP identifies the need and describes the recipient’s plans for using the IHBG to carry out eligible housing
activities. The APR describes progress made toward meeting the IHP goals and demonstrates financial accountability.
