The conference this year will include a special seminar called “Strengths Finder,” as well as workshops on secondary trauma and providing trauma-informed care, sessions conducted by Jarle Crocker of the National Community Action Partnership, Pat Standish of the Community Action Angels and a joint NYSCAA/NYSWDA session.
The Conference will include the annual NYSCAA/NYSWDA dinner, which will be held at the Hilton Albany on Lodge St. At the dinner, you will have an opportunity to see old and new friends and colleagues, and share the always heartwarming experience of the annual Community Action Awards. And we are pleased to announce that David Bradley from the National Community Action Foundation will be joining us! The Conference promises to be an informative and enjoyable event and we look forward to seeing you there.
