Tribal communities throughout the U.S. are disproportionately impacted (2-3 timers higher) b opioids and substance abuse. This training session will provide information about the Healing to Wellness Program designed to address opioid addiction administered by the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Court. The mission of the Healing to Wellness Program is to reduce recidivism, family violence, and death caused by substance abuse.
