Nevada Department of Education’s Annual American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) Education Summit

This year the conference theme is Equity: A Voice for All Students. The conference will be student-centered looking at the entire student; including academic and the social and emotional factors which ensures the wellness of a child. In addition, the discussion will provide insight on how these factors may lead to increased graduation rates and college and career. In light of the theme, students, as well as parents and families are also encouraged to attend and engage in this year’s Summit to participate in this important dialogue. High School students will have an opportunity to attend the youth summit simultaneous to the adult section.
