2020 ConnectHomeUSA – Resources for Staying Connected During COVID-19 Outbreak

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the CHUSA team has organized a webinar that will cover new and existing resources that can help your residents connect to low-cost Internet offers, continue to learn, and stay informed.  Key organizations, including several federal agencies, will share information about new funding and new flexibilities they have been granted by Congress to help communities respond to COVID-19.  You’ll also hear from nonprofit organizations such as the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, and ABCMouse, an online early education provider that has worked with many public housing authorities. List of organizations presenting includes:

  • ABCMouse;
  • EveryoneOn;
  • The U.S. Department of Education;
  • The Federal Communications Commission;
  • The National Digital Inclusion Alliance;
  • The Institute of Museum and Library Services; and
  • HUD

The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2020 from 2-3:30 PM EST. There will be time for Q&A. Space is Limited;  REGISTER HERE! Registration closes on April 14th at 1 PM EST.  For questions about registration, contact Caila Prendergast:  CHUSAtraining@enterprisecommunity.org  or call 202-403-8004.
